Closing Of The Bones Ceremony

A Closing of the Bones Ceremony is a rite-of-passage ceremony that can occur multiple times in the early postpartum time. Typically, when I am working with mothers, we will hold this ceremony at six weeks postpartum. However, it can occur at any time. This ceremony can even take place at 50yrs old-beyond. My end-of-life hospice clients have had great results with accepting death through this ceremony. It is a healing ceremony and a deep coming back to yourself. A release of old self and stepping into who you are today. It can be a deep hug of letting go of trauma, stress, pain, and suffering. You do not have to even be a mother to receive. Even men can benefit from this. But it is a great way to connect to your womb and heart space. This closing is very beneficial for womb trauma, sexual abuse, abortion, miscarriage, PCOS, Endo, birth trauma, anything that involves your womb. As women our hearts are connected to our wombs. If our hearts are suffering, then most likely our womb is too. We typically do this ceremony on the ground on comfy mats, sheep skin, and with traditional rebozos (Mexican shawls). But I have also done them on beds, and massage tables. This ceremony involves full body Mayan massage with warm oil anointing. The Mayan Massage is focused on the womb and gathering you back into yourself. It is also focused on nourishing/bringing energy and healing to all the bones in your body. I am a Reiki practitioner level III so I incorporate Reiki healing in my flow. Then I will be assisting you with rebozo tech, stretching, fascia release, and then wrapping. There will be times throughout where we will pause and just be. I also work with herbs, flowers, essential oils, palo santo, and tobacco (if you do not want these, that is okay we can talk in advance. There will also be sound healing to deepen your journey and rest. I love to honor people and be a vessel of love and life-force. I am very serious about my calling in this work. I was taught this ceremony by 3 different midwives at different times in my journey. A midwife from the Netherlands and another womb massage that is very similar called Hara. An Andean/Mexican midwife traditional Mexican rebozo techniques, Mayan Massage, and Closing Of The Bones. A southern midwife and mystic who also specializes in quantum biology. This beautiful ceremony takes place in your home or in my office space and can range from 2-3 hours. Sometimes longer if you want a Limpia (herbal egg cleanse) or an herbal bath before.
